First step? Rape drugs. The most amusing way is to manage to drag the person into quite a far away place I believe. Kill them with something simple. Say, poison, something which evaporates quickly from the body. Then, either cremate the body, or cut it into several pieces, spreading them across the country. Be careful with stains, hair falling, foot prints, finger prints and... and... I think that's it for now.

Not quite. I can't recall the english name of it. It's colourless, people often take it when they wish to commit suicide. Cyanide they call it? I'm not sure. Takes six hours to evaporate from the body I believe. Besides, the purpose of the drug is to prevent an investigation that'd lead back to you, since ye'd be taking that person far away. A drug can be taken anywhere.

When levels are very high, as in potentially lethal exposures, there is an initial rapid decline followed by a slow terminal elimination with half-lives ranging from 19-66 hours for the terminal phase (ATSDR 2006).
